What is this programme about?

A unique CPD program which maximises its outcomes through a digitally blended learning approach. We get started by studying Chapter 2 Waging War (Chinese: 作战) of The Art of War by Sun Tzu. This chapter advises that successful military campaigns require limiting the costs of competition and conflict. Applying the concept in today’s world, this program will equip you with the strategic/managerial competences in functional areas such as finance and productivity. Following the classroom-based workshop, we will reconvene with you and your peers in an asynchronous session. Throughout the learning journey, enhance your experience through digital collaboration and interaction with fellow participants and facilitator.

What does it cover?

By the end of this program, you will be able to:

  1. Recognise the value of “speed” in driving productivity and winning behaviour
  2. Use a simple and effective process improvement matrix to address the “lack of time” syndrome in productivity
  3. Relate to the value of cost and revenue behaviour in managing costing and pricing
  4. Describe the impact of contribution on volume and price changes
