Welcome to our October edition of The Casual Book Club! Our book club is as casual as our name - just a cozy gathering of very casual book lovers, so no stress about preparing things to say or even finishing the book!

This month, we'll be conversing on life, death, and how facing our mortality can awaken us to deeper presence, gratitude, and joy in being alive, while sharing a non-fiction title - 'Briefly Perfectly Human' by Alua Arthur. The session will be faciliated by Maisie, a human connection architect and resident book club enthusiast at casual poet library.
