About this event
If you're seeking a place to set meaningful intentions, to weave mindfulness into your daily life, or to ground yourself through the sensory experiences of smell, taste, sight, and touch - this workshop offers that beginning.
—
Come as you are - tired, scattered, seeking something you can't quite name. Let us hold space and have yourself settle into the slow rhythm of our workshop.
Bask in three cups of coffee brewed from beans carefully home-roasted and thoughtfully curated by Sunny Days Coffee. Maybe it's a bright coffee from Ethiopia with notes of citrus that wake up your senses, or a comforting Brazilian coffee that wraps around you like a warm hug.
As you settle in with each thoughtfully prepared cup, we invite you to wonder: What fills you. What weighs you. What overflows. These questions don't demand answers; they offer permission to simply be with whatever arises.
Your hands will move across paper while steam rises from your cup, and somehow, in this simple dance between sipping and creating, between tasting and reflecting, you may find yourself settling into a pace that feels almost forgotten. This is where the magic happens - not in grand revelations, but in the quiet recognition that you deserve this kind of gentle attention to yourself.
Here, you're invited to ease into a slower pace of savouring your coffee, taking time to care for yourself, and finding peace in the therapeutic movements of making art.

Our Facilitators
Min is a certified Q Arabica Grader (also known as a Coffee Sommelier) and holder of the Specialty Coffee Association Coffee Skills Diploma, but more than the certifications, she cares about making good coffee feel approachable, comforting and human. Through Sunny Days Coffee, she roasts in small batches, curating coffees that invite people to slow down and reconnect with themselves. For her, coffee isn’t about perfection - it’s about creating honest, everyday moments of comfort and care.
Jue Ann is a credentialed art psychotherapist (MA, AThR) with over a decade of experience. She sees her work more than just a profession; it’s an ongoing journey of collaborative exploration. Beyond her clinical practice, she is dedicated to creating spaces where individuals can engage with themselves and others in thoughtful, meaningful ways. That’s where the Sunday workshops at Kit Creations come in - gatherings to invite pause, presence, and creative engagement without the pressure of producing a perfect finished product.
Frequently asked questions
Anyone feeling tired, scattered, curious, or in need of stillness. Or you may just be someone who enjoys coffee and art.
Absolutely. Many people attend solo, and the space is intentionally welcoming to those arriving on their own. There’s no expectations to socialise and you’re free to simply be.
That’s okay. Taste is deeply personal, and part of this experience is noticing what resonates with you and what doesn’t. Perhaps the coffee served expands your understanding of what you enjoy (or don’t) in a cup. In paying attention to your preferences, you come to know yourself more deep
Not at all. This workshop isn’t about skill. It’s about process, presence, and play. Whether you haven’t picked up a colour pencil since school age or an experienced artist, you’re welcome exactly as you are.
You’re free to explore what calls to you: colours, textures, shapes, and words. It’s normal to feel a little unsure or scared at first when there’s no right or wrong way to create. If you get stuck, we prepared prompts to move past mental blocks. Crayons, coloured pencils, and markers are provided.
This is a slow and creative experience, not a replacement for therapy. That said, many participants find it emotionally grounding. If something arises for you during the session, we’ll support you with care and compassion.
This space is here for whatever arises: laughter, quiet, tears, or nothing at all. You won’t be asked to share more than you’re comfortable with.
