The East Coast Xmas Comedy Spectactular at Monk's Brew Club

East Coast Comedy presents a monthly showcase of the hottest comedians in the scene bringing their A-game to Monk's Brew Club over in the heart of the East Coast. For our last showcase of the year, we're bringing out the big guns!

This month's lineup:

Deepak Chandran (SG) : Closing the night will be one of Asia's hottest and most talented comedians who's recently gotten his first netflix special and has been killing it on social media and online.

Jo Hann (SG) : Jo Hann is probably the hottest young (actually quite old, but we don't talk about that) thing in the comedy scene right now. Since starting comedy a year ago, he's headlined Comedy Masala twice and the Lemon Stand as well which is an amazing achievement. His stuff is irreverant political and social commentary, our favourite genre at East Coast Comedy. This fella comes with the ECC Comedy Guarantee.

Jacky Ng (SG) : Jacky Ng is easily his generation's best comedian. One of the funniest dudes ever from Singapore, he's one of our favourite comics at East Coast Comedy. He sold out his first special last year and is racking up the views and followers on social media. He's opened for all the top comics in the region and is a stalwart at Happy Ever Laughter. He's headlined Comedy Masala, The Lemon Stand, East Coast Comedy, The Merry Lion and has performed all over Asia.

Prem John (SG) : Prem made it onto netflix before any other Singaporean comedian did. Unfortunately, it was for his ability to take a machete to the head and die admirably on screen. Prem has been tearing up the SG comedy scene since 2020. He's opened for Dr Jason Leong, Fakkah Fuzz, Rishi Budhrani just this year alone. Made his Happy Ever Laughter debut in 2024 and was brought back in 2025. Has headlined twice at Comedy Masala, The Lemon Stand, The Projector.

Bree Wang (SG/CHN) : A new Singaporean and comedy pro in the making, the very funny Bree is rapidly becoming a crowd favourite. She's opened for Fakkah Fuzz, Rishi Budhrani, Jason Leong at their hugungous theatre shows and made her debut at Happy Ever Laughter this year. Has headlined at East Coast Comedy, Comedy Masala and CanCan Comedy.

Time

Doors Open at 7 p.m at Monk's Brew Club right in the heart of the Joo Chiat. The show will start approximately at 8:00 p.m with a short intermission of 15 mins and the whole programme will end by 9:45 p.m.

There is plenty of street parking available along Joo Chiat Road and the surrounding streets. For guaranteed parking, park at Katong i12 mall which is about a 3 min walk from the venue.
