The executive briefing

The executive briefing

Forvis Mazars in SingaporeSingapore
Tuesday, Mar 3 from 9 am to 3:30 pm GMT+8
Overview

An intensive two-part executive briefing as we decode the shifting fiscal landscapes in Singapore and the US.

As we enter a pivotal year of transition, leaders are increasingly seeking clarity on the shifting fiscal environments in both Singapore and the United States.

Following the 12 February Budget announcement, Gene Kwee, Partner, Head of Tax, shares his perspective on Singapore’s strategic transition, “Budget 2026 strikes a careful balance between short-term support and long-term positioning. In the face of the global tax landscape, Singapore is choosing to adapt rather than resist. We are pivoting from broad-based tax holidays to targeted, substance-based instruments like the Refundable Investment Credit (RIC) to ensure we remain competitive on value. The real test now lies in execution. Success depends on whether these new policies are sufficient to attract high-quality FDI and prioritise structural resilience over short-term populism."

To help companies navigate these shifts, we are hosting an exclusive 2-part Executive Briefings on 3 March 2026.

This seminar is designed for senior leaders, offering insights into the changing fiscal environments in Singapore and the United States, and gives executives clarity on how to plan ahead in a year of transition.
