Venue opens from 5:00 PM if you’d like to arrive early and settle in for some drinks or dinner.

The Ever-Enchanting Kumar

Kumar is nothing short of a Singapore cultural icon—a leading comic and drag queen who’s been stealing hearts since the early ’90s. With over two decades of stage, television, and film glory under his sash, he's perhaps best remembered for keeping us in stitches at the legendary Boom Boom Room.

From side-splitting jokes and epic lip-sync routines to relentless commentary on society, we simply can’t get enough. A bold advocate for queer issues and unafraid to poke fun at local politics, Kumar’s razor-sharp wit—often aimed at taboos—has somehow always charmed both audiences and authorities alike. Whether you agree or not, he’s earned his place as a fearless—and funny—voice for all Singaporeans, across every race, gender, and orientation.

And as usual: Enjoy your retro tunes accompanied with music video sprinkled through the evening. If you’ve been to Kumar’s shows before, some may feel like old friends returning to the stage.

Where is RASA located?

RASA is at Republic Plaza Tower 1, #02-01/02, Singapore 048619. There are three convenient ways to reach us.

1.⁠ ⁠From Raffles Place MRT Station:

Take Exit E towards D’almeida Street. After exiting the station, cross the road to Republic Plaza. Do not go into the building but turn left along the building, walk past Autobar until you reach the glass door next to it—you’re here.

2.⁠ ⁠Alternative Route from Raffles Place MRT Station:

Follow Exit D and walk through the underground food court towards Republic Plaza Tower 1. Continue past the concierge until you arrive at the glass door at the end of the lobby. Exit through this door, turn right, and walk past Autobar until you see another glass door—welcome to RASA!

3.⁠ ⁠From Republic Plaza 1 drop-off

Turn left and walk past Autobar until you see a glass door next to it. You're here.
