About this event
The Little Herbalist 3 day camp runs from 6th Dec to 8th Dec with Fawn Labs at City Sprouts.
Each participant will go home with a herbalist kit and apron.
The camp is conducted under the guidance of Fawn Labs certified Formulator (Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulations U.K.).
They will get acquainted with herbs, fruits, flowers and craft their own extracts in the form of non alcoholic Herbal Tinctures, Fruit Macerates and Floral Infusions. They will use these plant extracts to make their own Play Dough Hand Soap, Bath Bombs and Body Wash. Learn about their benefits for skin and health.
Participants will go on a Farm Tour, experience composting, planting, black soldier flies. They will feed farm animals and have a little worm race with Biofly and Ecosami! Learn about Sustainability, participate in craft activities to learn about Upcycling, Recycling and more! Explore pH, Acid, Alkaline and Neutral and how these affect plant extracts.
Fee : $420 per participant
Age: 5 to 12 years old
Time: 9am to 12:30pm
To Note:
Drop off time: 8.45am onwards daily
Pick up time: 12:30pm daily
- Please let the children bring a hat/cap, any other sun protection, sun block, some stationary (scissors, coloring materials, etc) and a water bottle.
- Come dressed in comfortable, non fancy clothes suitable for a farm and some light activities.
- All participants has to be masked throughout other than during water and snack breaks.
- We will provide a link with photos and videos of the children taken during their activities post event.
