The Miniature Horse Sessions

This Holiday Season, come and meet six miniature horses, Kopi, Milo, Ah Boy, Ah Girl, Sayang and Siew Mai, at EQUAL's stables.

These therapy horses from EQUAL have been jointly adopted by IN GOOD COMPANY for 2021. Join us in raising funds for EQUAL during the Season for Giving, in aid of the important work that they do with rescued animals and the 1,500 beneficiaries that these therapy animals help every year.

(The venue of this community engagement event has changed from our Orchard store to EQUAL's stables at 100 Jalan Mashhor. We are erring on the extreme side of caution to better facilitate Safe Management Measures in light of rising community cases.)

Each session ticket is $50, featuring 2 miniature horses and allows 2 persons* per entry. It includes:

• A meet-and-greet session with our equine friends.

• Two complimentary beverages.

• One complimentary $50 E-Voucher from IN GOOD COMPANY (valid with $100 min. spend. Expires 31 Jan 2021).

IN GOOD COMPANY will match $50 to every ticket sold, pledging a total of $100 with 100% of donation proceeds going towards EQUAL.

(Note: Ticket price includes an Eventbrite service and processing fee of $3.51, totaling $53.51 at Checkout.)

*2 Persons per entry = 2 Adults or 1 Adult + 1 Child. You will need another separate ticket if you are coming with more than 1 child. All children below 12 years old must be accompanied by an Adult. Children 3-5 years old must be carried during the Session.

Things to note

While the horses are very tame and comfortable around people, they are live animals and can be unpredictable at times. Due to limited and restrictive space in the activity premises, this event is not suitable and not recommended for the following individuals:

• People with allergies to animal dander, skin flakes, saliva, and hair/fur.
• People requiring the use of wheelchairs (who may be inconvenienced due to restrictive space within the Activity premises.)
• Expectant mothers.
• Children aged 3 years old and below. Only people above 3 years old will be allowed into the Activity premises. All children must be accompanied by an Adult. Children 3-5 years old must be carried during the Session.

This is a closed-door event that practises safe distancing measures held in line with Safe Management Guidelines. Entry is strictly by pre-booked appointments only. Spaces are limited per session and per day.

About EQUAL

EQUAL is a non-profit animal-assisted intervention centre that uses therapy horses and cats that have been rescued and retrained for animal-assisted therapy to strengthen the emotional and mental well-being of people in need.

EQUAL serves 1,500 beneficiaries every year, comprising youths, people with special needs, families, and the elderly with dementia and depression.
