Ever wondered what goes into making some of your favourite games?
Or maybe you have a brilliant game idea but no idea where to begin?
The Paper Playground is a 3-hour workshop that will give you a sneak peek into the life of a game designer. We’ll give you an introduction to the basics of game design before you get some hands-on experience in designing your very own game prototype that you get to take home with you!
We recommend forming a group of 4-5 friends for peak enjoyment!
Tickets are $50/person. Payment information will be provided upon confirmation of registration.

AlterCulture Studios (www.alterculture-studios.com) exists at the intersection of business consulting and developing gameful experiences. We believe in the power of games and game education to drive creativity and interpersonal connection. By fostering a safe space for cross-industry interaction, we are building an ecosystem of collaborators across games and other industries interested in developing games beyond entertainment.
Our team is committed to harnessing the potential for games to create proactive and positive change, guided by tenets of empathy, creativity, and critical thinking. Through our game education workshops, we are making game design and development accessible to everyone.
AlterCulture Studios was established in 2020 by co-founders Jedidiah Siah and David Cabral who observed a rising interest in the usage of games in organisations across various industries, but a lack of collaboration with people within the games industry to do so.
