Kicking off the CYCLE TOGETHER 2026 journey with an unforgettable coastal ride to Kukup, Malaysia — a charming fishing village at the southernmost tip of Johor. This first chapter celebrates the simple joy of cycling across open horizons.

Feel the cool ocean breeze and take in the rustic beauty of Malaysia’s seaside countryside. From scenic village lanes to panoramic waterfront views, this ride promises a refreshing escape from the city and a perfect start to your four-part adventure.

Not only will you be biking on some of the most beautiful open roads that Malaysia has to offer, but you can also expect to forge friendships amongst your fellow cyclist, indulge in fresh seafood meals, sing karaoke together and a lot more!

🛣 The Route

The route unfolds across peaceful backroads lined with mangroves and seaside towns. Expect a mix of flat coastal stretches and gentle rolling terrain — ideal for riders of all levels. Support vehicles, hydration points, and mechanical assistance will be available throughout the journey to ensure a smooth and safe experience.

🏠 The Destination

Arrive in Kukup, a traditional stilt village built over the sea. Here, time slows down. Enjoy the calm of the floating walkways, the aroma of fresh seafood, and the warm hospitality of the locals. Whether you’re capturing sunset photos by the jetty or bonding over dinner with your ride buddies, Kukup offers the perfect setting for new friendships and lasting memories.

🏅 The Medal – “The Seaside Escape”

Every finisher earns the first piece of the CYCLE TOGETHER Medallion, representing the element of freedom. With ocean waves engraved into its design, it symbolizes the spirit of beginnings, courage, and camaraderie — the foundation of the four-part cycling journey.

There is no specific qualifying criteria and we welcome anyone to join us on this journey! Training sessions will also be held two weeks prior to the event to ensure all participants and their bicycles are ready for the ride. Our team is always ready to lend a hand if you need assistance!
