ABOUT THE TRAINER

Ivona Balint-Kowalczyk is the founder of Sustainao, a sustainability consulting firm based in Singapore. With over a decade of experience in the sustainability field, she specialises in crafting tailored strategies that drive long-term impact, integrating sustainable practices across all aspects of operations, and fostering continuous improvement.

She helps businesses establish effective sustainable procurement practices, from developing procurement policies to establishing supplier codes of conduct and assessment mechanisms. These efforts foster responsible sourcing that aligns with broader sustainability objectives.

Prior to launching Sustainao, Ivona worked as a sustainability auditor at KPMG France, where she conducted audits across 15 countries spanning Europe, Africa, and Asia, helping organisations meet sustainability regulations.

Ivona holds an MBA in corporate sustainability, a master's degree in environmental management, and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology, equipping her with a multidisciplinary foundation to address complex sustainability challenges.
