Description

This event is open to all secondary and JC-level students, including polytechnics and international schools. Teachers are also welcome! However, please note that if you do not fall under this category, your registration will not be accepted. This event is NOT open to the general public.

Thinkers' Day is an annual open student forum held at ACS (International) to encourage youth to think about significant global issues from a Singapore-centric perspective, and to brainstorm solutions to potential problems we may face as the next generation, from the valuable input of our guest speakers.

The theme for this year's Thinkers' Day is The World of Tomorrow, with the headline speaker & Guest-of-Honour as Dr Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence & Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Mayor, South East CDC.

The respective subthemes and speakers are:

The Economy of Tomorrow (The Job Market & Globalisation): Mr Max Loh, Managing Partner, Ernst & Young

The Environment of Tomorrow (Climate Change & Clean Energy): Dr Michael F Maniates, Professor, Yale-NUS

The Cities of Tomorrow (Urban Planning & Conservation): Dr Kelvin Ang, Director of Conservation, URA

More participant information will be released shortly!
