Join our event, 'Thriving Through Turbulence: Personal Stories of Navigating Pre- and Post-Layoffs' where our panelists share their personal journeys. Gain diverse insights and strategies to better prepare for layoffs, survivor's guilt, and embrace change.

 

Moderator

Lindy Heng

Lindy has more than 15 years of global experience in strategy and business development across Government and Tech. She is currently the Founder of Jump Mentors, which aims to empower young to mid-career professionals to find careers they love and to pursue non-linear career moves. Prior to this, Lindy led the Greater China team at Meta focusing on customer success and improving advertiser compliance with trust and safety policies. 

Passionate about mentoring, Lindy was part of the WeForShe mentoring circle at Meta and was also the Singapore Co-Lead for women empowerment initiatives at Expedia Group. She volunteered with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women supporting women entrepreneurs from developing markets.

Panelists
Gregory Satvinit
Gregory is a senior marketing leader with over 18 years of experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across B2B, B2C, and Brand & Reputation. Throughout his career, he has helped businesses navigate challenging environments and develop people to achieve success, including founding his own company, TechHalo, to enable clients end-to-end on their AI journey through education, solutioning, and deployment.

Previously, Gregory held marketing leadership positions at Google, where he led regional and local marketing efforts across Google Play, Google AI, Android Pay, Search, YouTube and Ads in APAC, as well as spearheaded Brand & Reputation initiatives in Greater China. In these roles, he played a key role in growing brand perception, user engagement, and revenue.

Jonathen Chen
Jonathan is an integral member of the leadership team at ABR Holdings, overseeing a diverse portfolio of F&B brands including Swensen's. With a background spanning M&A, business development, and strategic planning across private and not-for-profit sectors, Jonathen also has extensive experience working in Europe and the Middle East.

His dedication to mentorship, shaped by pivotal moments in his career, underscores his commitment to fostering growth and excellence within his teams and the wider community. Jonathen also chairs CITY Community Services - an IPC charity that uplifts children in primary schools and beyond.

Livia Lee
Livia is an HR advisor who is passionate about all ways to make the world of work better. With experience across Big Tech Recruiting, HR Operations, DEI and entrepreneurship, she brings a lens from both sides of the table: the interviewer, and the interviewee. In Nov 2022, she was laid off by Meta, along with 11,000 others globally. As someone with a 'non-linear' career path, the next 8 months were filled with reflection and activity to land the right next career move. She will be sharing her journey and passion in managing one's mental health, finding balance at work and in life, and pivoting when life throws you curveballs.
