Widely recognised as one of the most significant figures within the Japanese techno circuit, he’s been at the forefront of it all. A DJ, producer, and a label owner, Takaaki Itoh started out in the 90s, and is still going just as strong today.
He has left his mark at iconic institutions like Berlin’s Berghain, Tbilisi’s KHIDI, New York’s BASEMENT, and festivals such as Awakenings and Monument. With a keen ear for detail, Takaaki delivers razor-sharp blends and precise mixes when he's behind the decks – blowing dancefloors away.
Having produced throughout multiple decades, he boasts a stacked discography, featuring releases on labels such as Electracom, Stimulus Recordings, Grey Report, and his very own in Wols.
