We’re closing off our August with Unmute @unmute.asia, bringing Toru Ikemoto to our cages for a live set.

The Japanese DJ and producer is a staple within Japan’s underground circuit, starting out back in 2002. Toru Ikemoto stays fully grounded to his roots and gives back to his community through SiNE, an Osaka & Tokyo crew running house and techno parties, and yell0w, his DJ and production school in Osaka where he shows the next gen the ropes.

He’s gone on to play all across the world, hitting up Germany’s Open Ground, Australia’s Strawberry Fields Festival, as well as multiple venues in and around Japan such as VENT, Enter Shibuya, and Circus Tokyo.

Boasting an absolutely stacked discography, Toru Ikemoto has released various projects on labels from the likes of Aum Recordings, Diffuse Reality Records, and BCCO.

Supporting him on the night is Thugshop’s Vaibs, while DEZ and Poh hold things down Upstairs.
