Tile painting is inspired by the signature decorative tiles that adorn old Peranakan homes. These beautiful tiles are known for their vibrant colours and elegant motifs – from blooming flowers and birds to playful fruits and charming patterns.
Each design is full of meaning, often symbolising joy, harmony, and good fortune.
In this workshop, you will get to explore these classic motifs and create your own painted ceramic tile using bright acrylic colours and easy-to-use markers.
