Those who have not yet participated in this trend are asking: what's the best way to start? As with other financial topics, the answer is: it depends. In most cases, the primary factor to consider is commission, which you want to minimise in order to reduce its impact on your profits. However, finding the online trading platform with the lowest commission depends on what you want to invest in: do you want to invest only in Singapore stocks, or just the US stocks, or are you interested in multiple geographies? Would you only trade equities, or also bonds and options? Are you a long term investor or a frequent day trader?
