About this event
OVERVIEW:
In June 2025, the IFRS Foundation published a guide for organisations to disclose climate-related transition plans, in accordance with the IFRS S2 standards. But why is there an increased focus on climate-transition plans in corporate reporting, and the disclosure of these plans?
On top of identifying and analysing climate-related risks and opportunities, companies need to have concise strategic plans to manage the risks and take advantage of the opportunities to create value and meet sustainability goals. This leads to the question of how can managers develop comprehensive and productive transition plans to ensure their organisations remain competitive and ahead of the curve?
Join us for this engaging session to understand the foundations of climate transition plans and learn how to develop comprehensive transition plans.
Key Takeaways:
- Discover the context for sustainability transition plans and current state of affairs
- Learn how to identify 'transition-washing'
- Understand what makes a credible corporate transition plan, best practice frameworks based on key EU and APAC requirements, and implementation challenges
