We are applying updated Neuroscience, Interpersonal Neurophysiology and Somatic Psychology theoretical development and research to support educators in cultivating personal mental health resilience, creating an environment of optimum learning and bringing about the best in each student you interact with. We are a team of Trauma-Informed Mental Health Professionals who are committed to support the development and the personhood of each educator. We do this by facilitating, training and consulting with educators who are keen to apply the most updated knowledge in the field. The core concepts of this paradigm include:1. Defining the concepts of psychological safety, body safety and relational safety from a nervous system state perspective and how the lack of safety in these three areas impact the learning process of all students.2. Developing a key understanding on how nervous system states impact neural pathways that allows for processing of the more complex academic subjects (mathematical calculation, scientific formulations, etc).3. Redefining discipline and adaptive behaviour by engaging learners from a Connection-Based approach has been proven to be a more effective. We will support educators to cultivate your own internal resources on how to intentionally build this dynamics with your students.4. Supporting educators to develop a more keen understanding of your own nervous system state and effective ways of self-regulation to support your own wellness journey and sustain core resilience to keep doing what you love: teaching and nurturing your students.
