About this event
Together with diagnosis and contracting, treatment planning forms a key aspect of transactional analysis clinical practice (encompassing counselling and psychotherapy). Knowledge of treatment planning is also a requirement for the CTA exam. This workshop will present, discuss, and clarify the relationship between a number of models of TA treatment planning and provide opportunities for participants to reflect on their work in this context. There will be a specific focus on participants finding consistency between their approach to TA and their approach to treatment, including concepts of change and cure.
Learning Outcomes
- A good knowledge of a number of different models of treatment planning in TA.
- Some understanding of the differences between such models.
- Some application of a particular model(s) of treatment understanding.
