ICON-S (Singapore) is a country chapter of the International Society of Public Law (ICON-S).

About this Event

The extent to which public law constitutes and is constituted by gender norms has gained increasing attention in recent times. This symposium discusses Singapore experience and related developments in the wider Asia-Pacific region. Panellists will speak on domestic and regional influences on developments concerning sex and gender equality such as the decriminalization of adultery, representation of women in politics, the interplay between gender and health, as well as gendered approaches to criminal law.
