Upcycled Accessory

In this workshop, participants will learn about the benefits of upcycling and how to transform aluminum cans and beverage cups into earrings, hair clips, brooches or rings through basic sewing techniques.

In the workshop, participants will:

- Understand the environmental benefits of upcycling.

- Explore creative ways to repurpose everyday waste into accessories.

- Learn about different types of recyclable materials and their properties.

- Identify suitable upcycled materials (e.g., aluminum cans, beverage cups, plastic tubes).

- Use basic sewing tools: needles, thread, pliers, scissors, and adhesives.

- Experiment with layering and embellishments (beads, fabric, metal details).

- Learn proper cleaning and maintenance of upcycled accessories.

• Skill Level: This workshop is suitable for sewing beginners.
• Age Requirement: Suitable for participants aged 8 and up.
