Considering entrepreneurship as a career pathway? With the increased support through the enhanced Startup SG Founder (SSGF) Programme, explore entrepreneurship and gain access to additional support to start your journey with lower risk and greater chances of success. The NUS Venture Building (VB) programme, a new component of the SSGF, will help you to take the first steps towards being your own boss.

The 3-month full-time experiential programme designed by NUS Enterprise, the entrepreneurial arm of the National University of Singapore, will help candidates understand the process, challenges, risks, and rewards of starting a business, form and work in teams, learn to analyse market opportunities, develop business models, strategies and plans, and make professional pitches to improve chances of starting-up successfully.

The VB programme provides a monthly stipend and structured training to aspiring entrepreneurs to take their first steps towards starting up. Start-ups founded through the VB programme will be fast-tracked for the Startup SG Founder Grant and NUS Enterprise will continue to engage with participants after the programme to provide support, as well as technology access and mentorship to enhance success. Teams from the VB programme may also be eligible for other NUS entrepreneurship programmes and NUS seed venture funding.
