About the Tournament

Escape Tournament is a virtual escape room tournament organised by AveLIVEX. We welcome players to join in groups of 4-8 and compete to become the fastest group to finish the game successfully. This season 1, groups will be competing to solve AveLIVEX's latest virtual escape room "Guardians of the East: The Fateful Reunion". The game will last for 1.5 hours.

About the Game

"Guardians of the East: The Fateful Reunion" is the second episode of AveLIVEX's flagship escape room-story series "Guardians of the East", depicting the adventure of 4 friends on their journey of saving the world from evil. The series is built as a Multi-Player, Multi-Perspective and Multi-Ending Virtual Escape Room gameplay where players may share common and separate missions.

"Guardians of the East: The Fateful Reunion" continues the story after the 4 friends have successfully restored the power of the 4 guardians from the first game Guardians of the East: The Awakening. In this episode, each character is bestowed the power from the respective guardian he or she rescued, which grants them certain unique abilities in the game.

While players will view the same interface most of the time, their interfaces will each be enriched with the unique capability and functions that they are assigned to! Leveraging on one another’s capabilities, the group will work together to unlock puzzles and secrets that move the storyline along.

Groups may select 1 of the available 5 sessions to compete in the tournament:

• 19 JUN 2021 (SAT) 05:00 PM - 07:00 PM SGT
• 19 JUN 2021 (SAT) 10:00 PM -12:00 AM SGT
• 20 JUN 2021 (SUN) 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM SGT
• 20 JUN 2021 (SUN) 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM SGT
• 20 JUN 2021 (SUN) 05:00 PM - 07:00 PM SGT

Upon registering, you will be asked to select from 1 of the below 3 Entry Bundles to enter the tournament:

• Basic Entry Bundle: Enter the tournament and enjoy a fun-filled session of navigating a challenging, unique escape room gameplay with your friends!
• Super Combo Bundle: Play the first escape room in the storyline (Guardians of the East: The Awakening) at your own time before playing the official escape room at the tournament!
• Ultimate Trio Bundle: Enter the tournament, play the 2 escape rooms from Super Combo Bundle, and enjoy a unique & interesting Role Playing Murder Mystery game (The Golden Feather Thief) on top of that!

Prize & Winning Criteria

Grand Prize: SGD 200 Cash Prize & 20% OFF next season tournament entry

Criteria: Group that solves the escape room successfully at the shortest time.

Since there are multiple sessions, we will only be able to determine and announce the winners of the respective prizes after the end of the Tournament, and shall make an official announcement to all participants within 48 hours from the last offered Tournament slot.

AveLIVEX is an Interactive Virtual Escape Room and Role-Playing Murder Mystery Game in Singapore. We pride ourselves in interesting storylines, high-quality puzzles and content, as well as curated unique designs and context visualisation.

Piloting the concept of multi-player, multi-perspectives escape room and murder mystery game play, we aim to provide an interactive playground for teams to come closer to collaborate, share enjoyable moments and foster camaraderie.
