<p>Game Dev Guild presents: Virtual Playtest Party, a three-hour gaming event in a purpose-built virtual arcade.</p><h2>What is this event?</h2><p>Virtual Playtest Party is an opportunity for game developers to showcase their projects and receive useful feedback; for players to discover games, contribute to their development, and meet their makers; and for everyone to have some fun and connect.</p><h2>What kind of fun is on offer?</h2><p>Besides amazing games, Virtual Playtest Party is also a costume party! We will reveal a theme at the start of the event, and you can upload 2D art to create a costume (skin). Each visitor can vote for their favourite costume, and the winners will receive prizes - we will announce winners midway through the event.</p><h2>Want to showcase your game?</h2><p>Whether you're a digital or tabletop game developer, you're welcome to register for a free virtual booth. We're happy to include projects at any stage of development - from concepts to published games. But note that booths are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.</p><h2>When and where?</h2><p>The event runs from Saturday, 15 August 2026 20:00 to 23:00:00.
