Get yourself some practical skills instead and learn some visible mending techniques so you can stitch up that gaping crotch in your denim jeans! Gather a couple of friends and form a group of 3-5 persons for a private session (available upon request), or join us for an open session with up to 5 persons. Through this workshop, we will show you the basic techniques of visible mending which includes sashiko (Japanese embroidery technique of running stitches) and boro (patchwork mending). You will also pick up some sewing tips and learn to apply this methods to any garment with fabric remnants.
