About the Visioning workshop for the former Singapore Racecourse site
As part of the Draft Master Plan 2025 (DMP2025) public engagement, URA will be hosting a Focus Group Discussion on the planning for the former Singapore Racecourse site as it is being studied for redevelopment into a residential estate. Comprising a site visit to the Singapore Racecourse and a sit-down conversation, this session will provide contextual knowledge of the site while gathering diverse views from members of the public, industry, academia, and nature groups on the site’s transformation into a vibrant housing estate. Conversations will be centred on how we can thoughtfully integrate community spaces as well as green and blue features into the future estate, providing a visioning blueprint that will guide our strategies for the site’s development.
