What if I can't  draw?

Sketchnotes are about thinking & Learning. What is most important are the ideas. So, no, you don't need to have skills in drawing. If you can draw a stick person, that's probably a good start. And here's a tip: as a young person, you often have an advantage over more self-conscious adults :)

Can I work on paper or on a tablet?

Accepted Answer

Either is fine depending on what is most comfortable to you. When Im learning or teaching I prefer the simplicity of paper and pen. I would encourage you to use paper when learning the skill as it is more immediate and I think it will provide a more satisfying learning experience.

Can parents join the session?

Absolutely! your involvement and support in your childs learning is a vital part fo thier learning ecosystem. Besides, it can be fun when you both learn something new together

Question 4

How will I use these  sketchnoting skills after the workshop?

Accepted Answer

The most obvious use will be your note-taking of schoolwork, both in the classroom and at home. This can also help you with project work and can support you to be a more confident speaker when presenting your ideas.
