Vivino Tastemakers: An Italian Wine Journey

The Vivino Tastemakers series returns this October with a special Italian edition. This session invites wine lovers to sample, discover, and rate a curated selection of Italian wines together with Vivino’s community. It’s an engaging evening where every attendee gets to taste five distinctive wines and share their impressions—just as the Vivino community has done millions of times worldwide.

About Italian Wines

Italy is one of the world’s oldest and most celebrated wine-producing nations, with a history of viticulture dating back over 4,000 years. Home to more than 350 officially recognized grape varieties, Italy is famed for both its diversity and quality. From the crisp whites of Alto Adige and the sparkling Prosecco of Veneto, to the bold reds of Piedmont, Italian wines are deeply rooted in regional traditions while celebrated globally for their elegance, character, and food-friendliness.

Meet the Host

The evening will be guided by Josh Lim, Singapore’s #1 Vivino reviewer. With WSET Level 3 certification, a Certified Specialist of Wine designation, and over 5,300 wines reviewed on Vivino, Josh brings both expertise and a personal passion for wine discovery. His insights and palate will add depth to the tasting experience, making this session both educational and enjoyable.
