About the Programme
This workshop is for participants aged 50 years and above.
Videography and livestreaming might seem daunting at first, but even with a basic set-up that doesn’t break the bank, you can create high quality and memorable content. Learn the basics of videography in this fun, hands-on session, where we will teach you how to use your smartphone to stream video content to platforms such as Facebook, as well as considerations for upgrading your set-up. Participants will:
• Learn how to livestream content on Facebook
• Understand the five elements of a video production – lighting, audio, video, hardware, and software – and how each can improve a livestream’s quality
• Practise setting up a livestream in different scenarios
This programme is suitable for beginners. No prior knowledge of videography is needed to participate.
Please bring along a smartphone that can capture video and has sufficient storage space to record up to 3 minutes of video.
