VOS Community Chorus Season 19

The Voices of Singapore Community Chorus is our non-auditioned adult choir, and consists of members from all walks of life and differing levels of music knowledge with the aim to create a non-competitive and fun environment for choral singing. Embodying the community spirit of Singapore, the choir is known as the Chorus of the People, and its repertoire consists of a wide range of songs from contemporary to pop, sacred, jazz, musicals and classical choral works. Anyone aged 18 and up who can hold a tune is welcome. Join us for an unforgettable musical journey!

Season 19 will run from 20 March - 29 May 2024. Rehearsals are from 7:45pm-9:30pm on Wednesdays.

Members participating in Season 18 and Season 19 will work towards the Concert of the People: In One Voice at Capitol Outdoor Plaza on Sunday 5 May 2024.

No rehearsals on:

Due to the number of public holidays falling on Wednesdays, please note that there will be an additional rehearsal on Monday 29 April to prepare for the concert on 5 May.

Members new or returning for Season 19, without participating in Season 18, will need to attend all 6 rehearsals prior to 5 May in order to perform in the 5 May concert.

For all singers joining us for the first time in Season 19, we will be holding an induction session on Wednesday, 20 March 2024 from 7:00-7:45pm.


Registration closes on 16 March 2023 Saturday, after which a late fee applies.

Rehearsal Venues

Rehearsals will mostly be conducted at VOS Capitol Studios in Capitol Singapore, at 13 Stamford Road #B1-20/21 Singapore 178905. Some singers may also be hosted at the VOS Sky Studio on Level 3 weekly for sectionals.

Some combined rehearsals will be held at our second venue at Enabling Village, UOB Ability Hub. Enabling Village is located at 20 Lengkok Bahru, Singapore 159053, a short walk from Redhill MRT station.

The three rehearsals held at Enabling Village are on 24 April, 29 April and 15 May. The remaining rehearsals will be held at VOS Capitol Studios.

Support available for singers in need of financial assistance

The Support-a-singer Fund is a pool of contributed funds that will go directly to supporting singers in the VOS Community Chorus, or other choral groups at Voices of Singapore who are in need of financial assistance.
