Live Virtual Tour delivered personally using 'live video conferencing software.

Salvador, Bahia is considered the most African city in Brazil and you get to understand this walking in the streets of Bahia.

We will visit Salvador, Bahia in a Live Virtual Tour and we will meet 2 small business owners for a quick talk about their experience in Bahia. The tour will be for around 50-1hour and we will do 10-15 minutes of Q&A.

This walking tour is going to focus on Afrikaan heritage and black history. We will see live the culture of Bahia: Baianas, local street food, art, etc (if you are lucky you can see live percussionists or maybe a Capoeirista).

Salvador, Bahia is a charming and important city, the first Capital of Brazil during Portuguese colonization.

About the guide:

Sayuri, our guide for the tour hails from

Her experience travelling in Brazil and abroad, literature, music and gastronomy (coordinator of "comida di buteco" in Salvador - food festival) inspire me a lot to do different tours around Salvador/Bahia.

Salvador is the afro-city in Brazil and a place to come if you want to feel Brazilian atmosphere and culture! In my tours we will always support small local business and with a balance to the top attractions in town.

Covid update: as we probably all know by now, from time to time, the government may close shops and restaurants when the covid rates are high and that might change a bit the atmosphere of the places, and hence the tours.

We seek your understanding if certain parts of the destinations visited are not accessible.
