(The follow up to Watercolour Demystified Workshop)
Ready to elevate your watercolor skills? Join me for a 3-hour hands-on workshop where you'll learn to apply your newfound knowledge and skills to your own creative projects. I will give you personalized guidance, tailored feedback, and troubleshooting tips so that you'll gain the confidence to tackle watercolor challenges.

Fees: $100 per person for 3 hours
All materials provided, but you are encouraged to bring what you use at home so that we can better assess how it is impacting your work.

Who this is for:
As this class builds on skills learnt in my Watercolour Painting Demystified 4-Day or 8-Day Workshops, it is only suitable for students who have completed those workshops.
Learning Objectives:
- Practise and revise basic watercolour techniques
- Practise systematically and creatively applying these techniques on your chosen subjects.
- Learn to sequence and use different approaches to paint your projects.
- Deconstruct, construct, critique and troubleshoot to progress independently
Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able to -
- Paint with watercolours purposefully and more confidently
- Use a repertoire of watercolour techniques on a wide variety of subjects
- Troubleshoot and progress independently with applied practice
Course Materials:
All materials used during classes will be provided. This includes but is not limited to:
- A wide variety of Student and Artist grade cellulose and cotton papers
- Artist grade watercolour paints
- Artist grade gouache paints
- Miscellaneous mixed media
- Synthetic, Sable and Squirrel round and flat brushes
- Porcelain/Stoneware palettes
- Rag cloths and paper towels
- Drawing/Clip boards
- Water containers
- Pencil, pen, masking tape
Class Size & Instruction Method
I keep class sizes at 5 persons max so that I can attend to each student with personalised feedback. This class is focused on practical skills so there will be plenty of time to paint and experiment. I will do live demos, as well as correct your work and show you different ways to paint your subject and solve your watercolour issues.
Location: My home studio at Cairnhill (Nearest MRT station, Newton)
Course Materials: All art materials used during the workshop will be provided. Light refreshments of coffee, tea and snacks will be available.
About me: I’ve been teaching art since 2015 and am an adjunct lecturer at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). I’ve got 4 illustrated books under my belt and am Brand Demonstrator for German paint makers, Schmincke.
