Collaborative Zine Workshop with Hafi & Sarah at 3 - 5 PM, $29*/$35**
Join illustrator Hafi and zine maker Sarah in this hands-on workshop where you’ll dive into the world of zines - DIY publications that celebrate personal expression, creativity, and alternative storytelling. Discover how zines become a unique medium for artists and creatives to share voices outside the mainstream.
Hafi and Sarah will share their own creative processes, from idea generation to page layout, and will guide participants to explore materials and storytelling techniques to create a one-of-a-kind zine that reflects their own stories and styles.
Stories Speak: A Dialogue of Folktales with Hafiz at 6-7 PM, $10*/$15**
Storyteller Hafiz will bring Nusantara folk tales to life, reimagined in response to the artworks on display. Through his creative rendition, oral storytelling is not only a one-way performance, participants will also be invited to contribute to his stories! A banter of folktales and arts offer behind-the-scenes look at Hafiz’s creative process of researching, weaving, and re-telling stories across cultures and time.
