As part of the series of UI/UX Mixers at PIXEL, this event will present how Chinese apps have evolved to suit their audience, and look at design considerations, the user research process, product-market fit, and leveraging Chinese platforms such as WeChat. Participants will also get tips on overseeing design projects with Chinese vendors.

Speakers:
Sebastian Mueller,

 Sebastian Mueller is a business leader, advisor and investor in early-stage start-ups, as well as an author and speaker on topics around corporate innovation, digital transformation, future of work and the societal impact of technology. He lived in Shanghai for 5 years, and has worked with digital innovation and transformation units for Chinese local companies like Zhaopin, Denza and Xiaoyi, and international companies like ABInBev, BASF, Bosch, Daimler, Mann+Hummel, UTC and Siemens.
As COO of MING Labs, Sebastian spent time in Shanghai building up the team. Sebastian studied at Technische Universität München for business information systems and Shanghai Jiao Tong University for computer science.

Hu Yinghan is the General Manager at ZomWork and aims to make it the ideal home for freelancers in Southeast Asia. Yinghan has over 13 years of APAC leadership and strategy experience, including helping top Southeast Asian property developers manage Chinese technology vendors and designers. He graduated from Oxford University with an MA in Jurisprudence.
