Vanessa Tan | Director &amp; Co-founder, Position Five Pte LtdVanessa started her career in events production literally one day after graduating from polytechnic and later joined a production house producing TVCs, cinema commercials and other types of advertisements. This eventually led her to work for global advertising agency, Publicis. At the age of 23, along with her co-founder, Vanessa started her own production company, Position Five. Just two years into the business, the fledgling company has already landed big projects with clients such as Formula One Singapore, Amazon, and NTUC Income.Vanessa is also currently an Associate Lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic teaching full-time students from the Diploma in Media Post-Production.About the ModeratorMichael Kam | Lecturer / Filmmaker | School of Film &amp; Media Studies, Ngee Ann PolytechnicA seasoned filmmaker and educator, Michael Kam completed a postgraduate course in filmmaking from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and currently teaches its film programme. An avid short filmmaker, Michael&#x27;s works have travelled to numerous international film festivals, such as Berlin, Uppsala, Cork, Palm Springs, Encounters and Curta Cinema, among others. His films have received festival accolades such as the Best Fiction award at Tampere, the ARTE short film award at Hamburg and the Best Director award in Singapore. Michael has served as mentor and judge in ciNE65, and as a juror at the National Youth Film Awards.This webinar is FREE.
