We are chosen because of our technical skills and expertise; but once on the job, most come to realize technical expertise does not guarantee successful implementation. The challenge change agents face is the lack of direct control over the implementation of our ideas. Other line managers make decisions on their organization, including whether they accept our help or use our recommendations. Yet a measure of our success is whether our expertise gets utilized.     Lesley Lin
    Lesley is the Customer Experience and Capability Development Director of BP China. She is charged with the transformation efforts of the sales organization towards Extraordinary Performance. Her team collaborates closely with the leadership team and line managers to develop the mindset and skills to win in a challenging business environment. She has held various leadership roles in marketing, innovation and product management and has a MBA from Chicago Booth School of Business.


    Wendy Tan

    A consultant, writer and speaker, Wendy Tan integrates wholeness at work so we act with wisdom to create greater good. Wendy has co-founded Flame Centre, a talent development and instructional design practice based in Asia. Flame Centre is a partner of Peter Block and Beverly Kaye, representing their work in Flawless Consulting and career development & retention solutions respectively. Their work in integrating pedagogy and technology for learning advantage has recently won the InnoPlus Spark and HRO Today Thought Leadership Awards. Wendy is a Certified Professional Speaker (CSP), a designation conferred by National Speakers Association as the profession’s international measure of professional platform competence. A graduate of MSOD Pepperdine University, she is also the author of “Wholeness in a Disruptive World: Pearls of Wisdom from East and West”.
