About this event

    Half-Day Retreat: Clarity of Mind

Weekend Course: Free Your Mind with Emptiness

    Sat 16th & Sun 17th Aug | 10am – 4.45pmwith Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Rabka

"Emptiness is the way things really are. It is the way things exist as opposed to the way they appear... There is no greater method for experiencing peace of mind and happiness than to understand and meditate on emptiness."

    — Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche

How do things really exist? Are things as solid and real as they seem?

In his wisdom teachings, Buddha reveals the true nature of reality — emptiness, which opens the door to limitless possibility. Of all Buddha’s teachings, none are more far-reaching and transformative than the teachings on emptiness. It is through our understanding of emptiness that we can then come to solve all our problems and be of maximum benefit to others.

During this weekend course, we will explore emptiness through teachings, guided meditations and Q&A. Everybody is welcome to attend — this course is suitable both for beginners and those with more experience. It is possible to attend the Saturday day-course alone, or to include the day of meditation retreat that will take place on Sunday. (Note that you must attend Saturday if you wish to attend the retreat day.)
