At Hive Up (www.hive-up.com) we’re passionate about making financial education fun and engaging. We believe in educating you with financial knowledge to be empowered to make informed decisions. After conducting small group sessions of our 101 investment workshops with friends and family, this is our first time opening up these sessions to the public and would love for you to come learn and give us some feedback on it.

Our workshop will prepare and equip you with the basic understanding and play-by-play scenarios of a first-time investor. By assessing your risk tolerance, we will create and analyse your virtual portfolio. 

The small fee charged is to cover venue costs and some light refreshments. Please feel free to bring a friend or two along for free. We look forward to hearing your input if our workshop is helpful to you and how you think it can be even better!

About the Speaker:

Tian Qiuyan - Founder of Hive Up

Qiuyan started her career at Goldman Sachs, at a time when being a consultant or banker was the popular choice after graduation, in the Investment Management Division, and after 3.5 years, had amassed valuable work experience and built a strong network of business contacts. But it somehow wasn’t enough. 

Inspired by her brother, a seasoned entrepreneur, she’d always wanted to create something she could call her own. In 2010 she took a leap of faith and started with her brother and best friend. The start-up experience taught her a lot about life and exposed her to a world beyond finance, and now, even after leaving the safety of a high-paying job for the uncertainty of a start-up, Qiuyan has no regrets. 

She firmly believes in empowerment & education for the masses, and this is shown through her latest endeavour, Hive Up, which aims to make the financial planning process simpler & more manageable for the layperson.
