Dr. Emmanuel Hosiana Masenga is a Principal Wildlife Researcher and Director of Tanzania Wildlife Research Institute, Arusha (TAWIRI) with over 20 years of experience in wildlife ecology, protected area management, and community-based conservation. He has worked across Tanzania’s key ecosystems, including Serengeti, Ruaha, and Nyerere-Selous, focusing on endangered species monitoring and human-wildlife coexistence. Dr. Masenga collaborates with government bodies and international NGOs on ecological research and conservation strategies tailored to Tanzania’s biodiversity. He has published research work in peer-reviewed journals and presented at global conservation forums. His work strengthens Tanzania’s role in wildlife conservation and supports efforts toward sustainable development and biodiversity protection.
