About this event
You are invited to a Virtual Panel Dialogue on Hear Her Story: Sharing the journeys of inspirational leaders in academic medicine. This event is jointly organised by SingHealth Duke-NUS Women in Science's BreakThrough Seminar series and the Centre for Clinician-Scientist Development’s Research Masterclass Webinar series. Aspiring and junior clinician-researchers are especially encouraged to attend.
- Dr Anita Chan is Head and Senior Consultant in Ocular Inflammation& Immunology at SNEC; and Head of the Translational Ophthalmic Pathology-Immunology Platform at SERI. She was awarded the NMRC Clinican Scientist – Individual Research Grant (CS-IRG) in 2019 and has been funded by NMRC Clinician Scientist Award since 2019.
- Dr Nicole Keong is Senior Consultant in Neurosurgery at NNI. She has been funded by NMRC Clinician Scientist Award since 2019.
- A/Prof Katy Leung is Senior Consultant in Rheumatology & Immunology at SGH. She has been funded by NMRC Clinician Scientist Award since 2017.
- A/Prof Joanne Ngeow is Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology and Head of the Cancer Genetics Service at NCCS. She has been funded by NMRC Clinician Scientist Award since 2017.
- Hosted by: Asst Prof Ann-Marie Chacko is Assistant Professor in Cancer and Stem Cell Biology at Duke-NUS. She is the Programme Lead for the SingHealth Duke-NUS Women in Science Network.
