Insightful talk on mangroves, nature-based solutions and the Garden's latest sustainability efforts (with exclusive self-guided AR tour)!

About this event

Did you know that 200 mangroves have been planted in Kingfisher Wetlands at Gardens by the Bay? How does it contribute to the Garden's sustainability efforts?

Spend a fruitful morning with us on World Environment Day to discover the value of mangroves and the importance of protecting nature in face of climate change! Hear from experts in the field, Prof. Koh Lian Pin (Director of NUS Centre for Nature-based Climate Solutions) and Crystle Wee (Environmental Consultant at DHI), as they shed light on blue carbon and nature-based solutions and why wetlands matter, even in an urban context.

Participants will also get an exclusive chance to experience our pilot, self-guided Augmented Reality Sustainability Tour around Kingfisher Wetlands!

Limited seats are available. Sign up now!

This lecture is part of the Wonderful Wetlands series.
