Wondering how you can network effectively? Join us to find out more!

About this event

If you are a graduating/fresh graduate from polytechnic or university and wondering how to accelerate your career growth through professional networking - this workshop is for you!

Networking may seem like a daunting word to many of us who struggle to reach out to people we are keen to start a conversation with. Many are unsure of how to do it, and how to maintain the network after the initial conversation. We believe that networking is building a long-term relationship with the other party, and not a one-off session. It goes beyond starting a new relationship. Developing your existing network and sustaining your new relationships are equally important.

One of the best ways to look for new opportunities and gain new information would be from the people around you. Exercising your networking muscle by practising it would help you grow your confidence much more than simply reading about networking on Google.

Join us for an interactive in-person workshop conducted by Cindi Wirawan, Millennial Career Coach from Cindiw where you will be able to master the fundamentals and art of professional networking - understanding the nuances of managing human relationships, having meaningful conversations and learning from one another.

Key takeaways for the workshop:

  • Essentials of professional networking - what, where, who and how can you network
  • Crafting a memorable elevator pitch
  • Starting and sustaining your relationships
  • Growing your network online and offline
  • Sharing of personal experiences and best practices

Seats are limited as this is an in-person event, so join us today!

Post-event Engagement: Praxis - From insights to action

This event will be followed by a 7-day engagement over WhatsApp, where attendees will be invited to join a group chat to share their thoughts on the key takeaways from the event, and how they intend to apply these learnings in action. The main objective of this interaction is to facilitate learning and networking with like-minded individuals.
