Event description
A workshop by writer, artist and mental health advocate Jenny Faith Koh

About this event

"In mental health, we speak about holding space for each other. Writing perpetually holds that space for me. When I share my words and others read and resonate, I share this space with them."

- Jenny Faith Koh

Learn how writing can be a tool that holds space for you. Writer, artist and mental health advocate Jenny Faith Koh @jennyfaith shares how she journals with vulnerability. This workshop offers guidance to express your thoughts and emotions authentically on paper (or text document) and to experience catharsis through writing.

It is an opportunity for your writing to be “seen” and your voice to be “heard” by yourself, and fellow journallers through guided sharing.

Sharing is encouraged but not compulsory.

Jenny Faith will be reading an excerpt of her story “Triple-Guarded Windows”, which was first presented at the Singapore Writers' Festival 2020, and sharing the inspiration behind it.
