About this event

  • 2 hours

Quantum physics offers a multitude of storytelling possibilities in books, film and popular media. In this workshop, you can try your hand at writing quantum flash fiction. Scientists from the Centre for Quantum Technologies will give an introduction to quantum physics concepts and their use in popular media.

Then, hear from local author Dave Chua, a finalist in the recent Quantum Shorts – a competition for quantum-inspired flash fiction. Dave will also guide participants in a short workshop on writing quantum fiction.

This programme is suitable for teens aged 13-17 years old.
