Year in Layers — Reflective Art Workshop
Overview
Join us for a reflective mixed-media art workshop designed to help you look back on the past year, acknowledge your experiences, and create space for new intentions.
Through layering colors, textures, and symbols, you will create a personal visual story that honors where you’ve been and clarifies where you’re going.

Duration: 2 hours
Materials: All provided!
🌿 No art experience needed.
This is a supportive, process-focused session for ages 13+.
🕒 The Flow (2 Hours):
1:00–1:15: Opening Circle & Orientation
• Welcome and facilitator introduction
• Purpose of the workshop explained
• Group agreements: non-judgment, confidentiality, optional sharing
• Overview of materials and the flow of the session
1:15–2:25: Artmaking: Creating Your Year in Layers
• Participants will move through guided steps while working at their own pace.
2:25–3:00: Closing Reflection & Sharing
• Quiet time to observe completed artwork
Participants leave with:

✨ A grounding, creative experience that supports emotional reflection and new beginnings

Lyn designs reflective art experiences that help participants honour their journeys, release what no longer serves them, and step into the new year with clarity and intention.
