About our regular MBS teachers:

Aishah

My journey on the yoga mat began 10 years ago, and it's been an incredible exploration of strength, flexibility, and inner peace ever since. Recently, I deepened my practice with a transformative certification in Bali, where I fell in love with the power and flow of Vinyasa yoga. But I believe in balance, so you'll often find me grounding myself with Yin yoga's restorative poses. Beyond the mat, I'm also a certified Barre instructor. This dynamic practice has not only strengthened my body but also instilled a confidence that translates beautifully to my yoga practice. Recently, I embarked on the incredible journey of motherhood. Yoga has become my haven to reconnect with myself, discover my "new" body, and find gentle strength during this transformative time. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just starting out, I believe everyone can benefit from the magic of yoga. My classes are inclusive, encouraging you to listen to your body, explore your limits, and most importantly, have fun! So, join me on the mat, and let's embark on this journey of self-discovery together!

Ashita

Ashita’s first real encounter with yoga was in 2017, at a yoga studio in Canada. After her first class, she was amazed by how calm and energized she could feel at the same time. As an Indian, she found it ironic that it took a journey halfway across the world to discover her passion for yoga. Since then, the curiosity has only cultivated further and led Ashita to complete her yoga teacher training certification in Vinyasa Flow in 2021. She now hopes to share the benefits of the practice that has been instrumental in shaping her life on and off the mat.

Cora

Cora started yoga in 2011 and has been teaching since 2014. Her practice and teaching is influenced by classical forms of yoga from the Iyengar, Anusara and Hot Yoga traditions. Her preferred approach to teaching yoga is through applied knowledge in alignment and functional anatomy, emphasizing building strength and stability on top of range and flexibility are the keys to establishing a strong, sustainable and life-long practice. Her wish as a teacher is to help students along their journey, to know and learn and be comfortable with their bodies and themselves with true awareness, safety and intelligence.

She strives to create a nurturing, supportive and empowering relationship with her students, offering yoga as a study and developing a practice to curate self-knowledge and growth, to build better connections with themselves and others, to build resilience to navigate challenges in day to day life – and through that, cultivating a mindset to live a full, expansive and purposeful life. Cora sees yoga as a continuing learning process and a lifelong practice. She loves to share, learn, grow and evolve together with her students.

Stephanie Bovis

Stephanie is a certified yoga and meditation teacher living in Singapore, with over 1000 hours dedicated to various avenues of practice. She specialises in the yin style of practice, but she is also passionate about mobility and self expression. Her classes are gentle, and she brings with her a repertoire of nurturing practices that are heart opening and expansive, with methods tailored to meet and guide individuals wherever they are in their journey.
