This June join me on Sunday mornings for a yoga class to learn stretches and breathing exercises to help back pain and improve your overall well-being.
Connect with nature at Botanic Gardens while you tune into yourself through the yoga class. No prior experience needed, just come with a curious mind to learn.
To optimise learning, class is kept small at not more than 5 pax.
This session is SGD18/pax. Limited 2-for-1 tickets. The session is confirmed once you purchase a ticket. An email will be sent to you 1-2 days before with more details.
The yoga class will include:
- breathing for grounding
- stretching exercises for your back
- selected asanas (poses)
- ending with relaxation and pranayamas (breathing exercises)
Things to bring
- Yoga mat
- Water
- Small towel
- Optional ground sheet/picnic mat or large garbage bag. We may practise on the grass. If you might be uncomfortable laying your yoga mat over the grass (which tends to be damp), do bring something to lay your mat over.
- Optional mosquito repellent
Meeting point. We'll meet at the open lawn where the Bougainvilleas and Bamboo collection is. Look out for my yellow bag.
Directions:
- If you are coming from the Botanic Gardens MRT Exit A (circle line),
- enter the gate then walk through Trellis Garden.
- Take the middle path.
- Turn right once exiting Trellis Garden.
- Look out for the bamboo trees. Then walk on the stone path.
- You should see the open lawn with bougainvilleas.
If driving, the nearest carpark is near Melati Gate.

Note: In case of rain or otherwise, the session shall be cancelled and not proceed. I will try my best to inform you of such cancellation via meetup at least 45 minutes before the session. I appreciate your understanding on this. You will receive a refund is the class is cancelled due to weather or otherwise.
No refunds will be made if you are unable to attend the class at the last minute.
Release and waiver of liability
By your purchasing of a tickets to this event, you:
- consent to the voluntary participation in the yoga session conducted by the organiser;
- understand that you should consult a physician before participating in the yoga session;
- recognise that it is your responsibility to notify the organiser of any serious illness or injury before the yoga session;
- will not perform any postures to the extent of strain or pain;
- assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur because of the yoga session;
- knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive any claim you may have against the organiser, for injury or damages that you may sustain because of participating in the yoga session.
If you will like private individual/group classes or yoga therapy (e.g. for weight loss, back pain, knee pain, constipation, migraine, insomnia, anxiety etc) at your convenient time, fees apply - pls do contact me!
Frequently asked questions
Yes. The class will be suitable even if you have never taken a yoga class.
Please consult your doctor or physiotherapist before signing up for the class. When you come for the class, please inform the instructor the symptoms and areas that are painful.
It is advisable not to consume any food or caffeine before the class.
