Yoga for Nervous System combines dynamic breath and movement with complementary nourishing, long-held poses to impact the juicy glandular secretions that are the very foundation of our physical, mental, emotional and energetic well being. There is intentional surging, pressurizing and direction of energy alongside tension and compression to create intentional release.

The practice:

  • Builds resilience, stability and self-authority
  • Breaks addictive behavior
  • Disrupts patterns to create new neural pathways to inspire a new way of being emotionally, mentally and physically
  • Releases conscious, subconscious and unconscious memories and patterns stored in the nervous system
  • Releases issues stored in tissues
  • Stimulates the intelligence of the body to rebalance, reset and restore itself

What to bring to class:

  • Yoga mat and water bottle
  • A couple of yoga blocks, pillows and/or bolster
  • A couple of towels or blankets for a supportive and more luxurious practice experience
  • Deep breath!

Yoga for Nervous System is a secular practice for all levels of practitioners. We begin at where you are.

Virtual class link will be emailed a day before class. Due to audio quality of music transmitted online, if you wish, please prepare your favorite music for the practice - dynamic for the first part, relaxation for second half.
