Description
Young Peacemakers UnConference 2018
Connect - Converse - Contribute
Peace is coming. Join the process. Participate in the Young Peacemakers UnConference and find out how you can make peace a reality together with young people mainly from other regions especially South East Asia. It is an exciting gathering of youth from different cultures and religions.
In conjunction with the United Nations World Interfaith Harmony week, the one-day Young Peacemakers UnConference explores how peace can be initiated through mutual respect, understanding and long-term positive relationships. There will be many small group discussions and activities for drawing out aspirations and participant-driven learning. Listening and expressing ideas are the strongest of peace-making tools, so the UnConference is a fascinating avenue to see how the world can be shaped into a better place for all of us.
Participants from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand have confirmed attendance. They are the future leaders of peace efforts and look forward to meeting you as part of a network of young global peacemakers who will make peace a priority.
Participation must be confirmed by 31 January 2018.
